Newhall Ranch Homes
NEWHALL RANCH MODEL HOMES COMING SOON
Homes in Newhall Ranch may be available for purchase much sooner than originally planned. According to Don Kimble, FivePoint Community President, model homes in Newhall Ranch’s Mission Village may be available either late 2019 or early 2020.
FivePoint is currently working on the infrastructure of the Mission Village area of Newhall Ranch.
When each infrastructure phase is complete, they will sell the developed property to individual home builders to build individual Newhall Ranch Homes. They currently have two other two active projects, Great Park Neighborhood in Orange County, CA and The San Francisco Shipyard in San Francisco, CA in which they did the same thing.
Mission Village is the first community to be established in Newhall Ranch. It will be developed in stages and eventually bring 4,055 Newhall Ranch new homes of all sizes, shapes and prices to the community. In addition to the homes, there will be 1.5 million square feet of commercial property which will contribute to the highly desirable “walkable” type of community.
The list of builders of the new homes in Mission Village have not yet been announced by FivePoint.
Currently, homes in their The San Francisco Shipyard community have primarily been built by Lennar Builders. However, in Great Park Neighborhood, multiple builders were chosen to build the community.
Initially a group of 21 home builders showed interest in “Pavilion Park”, the first community built within Great Park Neighborhood. A group of eight builders were selected to build the homes which included: William Lyon Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes, Shea Homes and Taylor Morrison.
In “Beacon Park”, the second community currently being built at Great Park Neighborhood, the builders include: William Lyon Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Richmond American Homes, Ryland Homes, Shea Homes and Taylor Morrison. Two new builders were added to the project: DR Horton and Standard Pacific.
Over the last several months I have been asked a lot of questions about Newhall Ranch which include what type of homes will be built, when they will be available, who the builders will be and how much will they cost.
Because they are still in the early stages of development, NONE of those answers have been provided by FivePoint at this time.
With that being said, I don’t know this for sure, but it is very possible that the home builders mentioned above, may be included in the builders chosen to build homes in Mission Village. However, that is entirely speculative on my part so don’t quote me on that!
Newhall Ranch aka Net Zero Newhall is an entirely unique, “first of its kind” development in California so everything, including the home builders, may be entirely different.
As more information becomes available, I will be happy to pass it along to you. You can sign up for my “Keep Me Posted” list if you wish or just give me a call so that I can answer your questions directly.

Considerably more definition of Mission Village. Landmark Village has not started the development process yet.
